Principal Recognized for Outstanding Achievement in KCSE Exams.
Cardinal Otunga High School’s Chief Principal, Mr. Albert Ombiro, expressed his gratitude to the TSC for recognizing the institution. The school had exceptional achievement in the 2022 KCSE exams posting a mean score of 10.76 in the year’s exams. The school came in second place overall, and all of its pupils were offered direct admission to universities.
Ombiro expressed his appreciation for the honor given to the school during the World Teachers Day celebrations in Nairobi. The principal expressed his gratitude during a news conference conducted in Kisii town on Tuesday October 10. He expressed his gratitude to the instructors’ company for taking the initiative to organize this recognition event.
He was proud of the Commission for its role in honoring accomplishments in a variety of fields. These includes music, drama, sports, and academics, among others.
The principal also expressed his gratitude to the school’s key sponsors, the Catholic Church, as well as the faculty. Others who were praised by the principal during the press are the staff, parents, board of management, and students.

He stressed that this honor will serve as an encouragement for students and the entire school community to strive for even greater accomplishments while recognizing their vital contributions to the extraordinary performance.
Mr. Ombiro also emphasized the school’s active involvement in a number of extracurricular pursuits at the county, regional, and national levels, including rugby, music, soccer, volleyball, and hockey.
Aside from Mr. Charles Onyari, the principal of Nyambaria Boys, who won the national title for best school leader, Ms. Linet Sati of Asumbi Girls, Mr. John Kuria of Mang’u High School, and Mr. Simon Masibo of St. Antony’s Boys School in Trans Nzoia were among the other principals from secondary schools recognized by TSC for their achievements in the previous year’s national exams.
