TSC orders field Officers.
In a directive released on Monday, TSC instructed all field officers currently on leave to report back by October 16. TSC CEO Macharia announced this choice, emphasizing how important it is to the organization’s preparations for the next national exams.

This is among the steps taken to guarantee the effective conclusion of the last round of training for national exams. That is according to teachers service commission chief executive officer Dr Nancy Macharia. These field officers’ main duties will be to oversee the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams.
They will also be crucial in ensuring the efficient execution of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
It should be noted that the Kenya National Examination Council has declared the conjunctive administration of the KCPE and KPSEA. The actual exams are expected to start on Monday, October 30, and end on Wednesday, November 1. Rehearsals for both national exams are set to begin on October 27.

The start date for the KCSE examinations has been determined by the testing organization as October 10 through November 24. Macharia revealed that supervisors, invigilators, and examiners had already gone through a vetting process to reassure parents and students about the smooth administration of these exams.

Ezekiel Machogu, the Education Cabinet Secretary, Belio Kipsang, the Principal Secretaries for Basic Education, and Raymond Omollo, the Principal Secretary for Interior Security, were present as Macharia made this declaration at the beginning of the 2023 national examinations season.
