KESSHA warning to government.
The Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) through their chairperson Indimuli Kahi have issued a warning to the government, telling them what would happen if the government fails to provide enough capitation funds.
The association has earned that education and the whole learning process is in danger of coming to an end, unless and otherwise the government issues them enough capitation funds.

The Kenya Secondary School Heads Association chairperson said this while at the KESSHA summit in Mombasa, that was attended by secondary school heads from different schools in the country.
He also added that the current financial situation in schools is way below average. Lack of funds is seriously affecting school operations across the country’s education institutions.
Another serious issues that is faced by schools as highlighted by chairperson Indimuli is the increasing difficulty in buying food. Many schools in the country are trying their best to ensure that their learners receive foods that are nutritious. This is however becoming almost impossible due to financial problems.

KESSHA warning to government
Currently, many schools in the country are running their operations without funds. This puts them in danger if it continues for a long period of time. This has turned to be a very serious threat to the performance of learners.
This follows after a report issued by KTN News which dug deeper into the mounting financial pressure on education institutions, giving need for government intervention.
It is very important that the government intervenes and reacts towards this issue to avoid interruptions in the learning system. This forms the only way out in this situation.
The best way to achieve this is through increasing capitation funds to schools. Authorities are therefore asked to take quick action before it is too late.
