A new program has been launched by Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to replace professors who have retired for natural reasons. The TSC Chairperson, Dr. Jamleck Muturi, declared the open posts. This will take the place of instructors who had retired owing to attrition naturally.
Muturi announced that the government will give precedence to regions with a teacher shortage in the hiring and deploying process. This happened during a news conference at Tambach Teachers Training College. He as well noted that the government continuously provides opportunities to hire 5,000 new teachers each year. The government is doing so despite a shortage of around 100,000 instructors nationally.
