Ugandan man marries seven wives simultaneously.
A 43-year-old medicine man from Namasengere village in Uganda’s Mukono District has shocked the nation and made news headlines. He recently gained notoriety after spending a week getting to know the parents of his seven prospective spouses.
Habib Nsikonnene would go even farther by getting married to his seven fiancées on the same day. This was after opulent traditional Muslim weddings (Nikkah) hosted at each bride’s residence, two of whom are blood sisters.
Nsikonnene would then host all seven of his wives and their friends and relatives on Sunday at a magnificent reception ceremony conducted at his home before moving in with all of his spouses. He is reported to have large pockets by local standards.
According to locals, his wedding caravan reportedly included over 40 cars and 30 motorcycles. Nsikonnene’s business is said to flourish.

After making his small community famous, Nsikonnene has gained some cult following among the locals.
“About four years ago, this man with exceptional qualities (Nsikonnene) moved to this village. He arrived, purchased property nearby, and identified himself to me as a traditional healer.
The chairperson of Namasengere Village, Emmanuel Owere, is quoted by The Monitor as saying, “We permitted him to perform his trade.
We had no idea he would make us famous when he first moved in. The name of our village is highly popular right now.
Now, the village chair wants to give Nsikonnene’s name to a nearby road.
He is a unique man since, in light of his social standing, he has interacted with everyone. Locals should imitate him since he works hard, said Owere.
