KMTC placement results released.
The results for the second KMTC course applications have been made public by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service. On Tuesday, KUCCPS published a notice informing the public that applicants had already received an SMS with their findings. Additionally, they gave guidelines on how candidates might view their results.
“The second KMTC application’s findings are now available. Please visit http://students.kuccps.net to access your portal and monitor the status of your application. SMS notifications were sent to applicants, according to the announcement.
In order to accommodate students who missed the initial KMTC placement, KUCCPS opened its portal on September 12. For students who applied for KMTC courses through KUCCPS, they said that their selections will be revised. It was decided to revise from September 12 to September 16.
It should be noted that the initial application deadline was August 4 2023. KUCCPS urged individuals who didn’t get in to visit http://students.kuccps.net and select an alternative KMTC course at no additional cost.

For more information, eligible students were asked to go to the KUCCPS site at http://kuccps.ac.ke. The portal’s application window had been opened on July 22. The service got a total of 42,000 applications throughout the application period, with each applicant paying a cost of Sh2,000, according to KUCCPS CEO Mercy Wahome.
However, because KMTC can only accommodate 11,000 students, 32,000 pupils were anticipated to be placed elsewhere.
Wahome noted that 30 distinct Kenya Medical Training programs were available for application on the KUCCPS webpage. The placement service was in charge of enrolling students in degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan programs throughout 289 public training institutions and 30 private universities in Kenya after KMTC was integrated into the KUCCPS system.
People who passed the KCSE test between 2013 and 2022 were the target audience for the application procedure. Wahome emphasized that the diploma and certificate programs offered covered a wide range of subjects, including, among others, community health nursing, mental health and psychiatry, midwifery, radiography and imaging, medical laboratory sciences, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and public health.
